Stonycreek Whitewater Park. The proposed Stonycreek Whitewater
Park has new life and will be complete as early as fall, 2005. Included will be a constructed 300
yard long “park and play” section, boater change house, pavilions, and much
more!
Quemahoning
Reservoir Whitewater Release. If all goes
well, water could be flowing into the Stonycreek River Canyon soon for
whitewater / conservation. Funding
is in place for a necessary feasibility study. Click Here for an

Reservoir Area Cleanup. The Benscreek
Canoe Club is one of many organizations partnering with PA Cleanways to
keep a section of the Quemahoning Reservoir recreation area free of

Trolley Trail Feasibility Study. Click here for

Study that outlines the potential to connect Johnstown with Windber along
an abandoned historic trolley line.
Included in trail plans is a trail bridge over the Stonycreek River
into Greenhouse Park overlooking the proposed Whitewater Park.
