The
Trolley Trail Feasibility Study was completed in late 2004. The study explores the potential to
extend the James Mayer Riverswalk Trail out of Johnstown, PA mainly along
an abandoned historic trolley line toward Windber, PA. Scroll below for document pdf’s.
The study was commissioned by Conemaugh Township,
Somerset County and financed in part by a grant
from the Community Conservation Partnerships Program, under the
administration of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources,
Bureau of Recreation and Conservation.
The
trail advisory committee selected the FisherWorks Consulting Trail Team in
late 2003 to complete the study.
The team consists of FisherWorks Consulting, Earthtech, Inc., and
Hurst Media Works.
The
DCNR planning grant was graciously matched by several project in-kind
professionals listed on the inside cover of the study.
