  :: Trolley Trail Feasibility Study

The Trolley Trail Feasibility Study was completed in late 2004.  The study explores the potential to extend the James Mayer Riverswalk Trail out of Johnstown, PA mainly along an abandoned historic trolley line toward Windber, PA.  Scroll below for document pdf’s.

The study was commissioned by Conemaugh Township, Somerset County and financed in part by a grant from the Community Conservation Partnerships Program, under the administration of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation.

The trail advisory committee selected the FisherWorks Consulting Trail Team in late 2003 to complete the study.  The team consists of FisherWorks Consulting, Earthtech, Inc., and Hurst Media Works.

The DCNR planning grant was graciously matched by several project in-kind professionals listed on the inside cover of the study.
